Miwatj Health Aboriginal Corporation are seeking a Research Projects Support Coordinator to assist the Research Manager and team in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of a diverse portfolio of research projects across remote communities in East Arnhem. This role works closely with the Research Manager to ensure projects progress in alignment with key milestones and will hold responsibility for overseeing specific projects within the portfolio.
This is a part time fixed – term role until 30 June 2026 based in Nhulunbuy.

- Competitive annual salary based on classification and experience:
- AO6 $107,978 - $120,711 per annum, pro rata + 11.5% super
- AO7 Year 1 $127,677 per annum, pro rata+ 11.5% super
- Ability to Salary Package up to $15,900 + additional $2,650 on Meals and Entertainment

Established in 1992, we’re committed to providing quality services across East Arnhem Land and enabling Yolŋu powered community health and wellbeing. Miwatj provides culturally appropriate, comprehensive primary and public health for over 6,000 residents of this remote landscape. With a Head Office in Nhulunb uy, and a Corporate Office in Darwin, our delivery is focused on 7 health centres across East Arnhem Land and dedicated outreach teams who travel to additional locations.

The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong commitment to Aboriginal Community Control and self-determination, with a deep understanding of the challenges faced by Yolngu people in remote settings. Candidate can demonstrate undertaking a similar role in an Aboriginal community and ability to work with a team and exercise good judgement and initiative.
